TLDR

  • US spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded about $176 million in net inflows on Tuesday, their second straight day of gains.
  • The two-day total reached $286 million, following $110 million on Monday.
  • October’s net outflows have narrowed to roughly $26 million, while year-to-date inflows sit near $850 million.
  • Ether ETFs are moving the other way, with October outflows hitting $1.32 billion.
Bitcoin ETFs Extend Their Recovery

There’s a clear shift in momentum for US-listed spot Bitcoin ETFs. They attracted about $176 million in net inflows on Tuesday, stretching their rebound to a second consecutive trading day, according to market data.

That figure builds on the $110 million that we saw come in on Monday, bringing the two-day total to $286 million and the timing really matters here. Just days earlier, these funds shed nearly $774 million across Thursday and Friday, so the turnaround has been sharp.

October Outflows Shrink

With these fresh inflows, we can see October’s net outflows narrowing to about $26 million through Tuesday. That is a big improvement from where the month looked only a few sessions ago. Year-to-date net inflows still stand at roughly $850 million, which shows the longer-term demand story hasn’t collapsed despite the recent selling.

Bitcoin itself traded at about $80,818 at the time of writing, up 1.6% over the past 24 hours, per CoinGecko. What is interesting and notable is that price and fund flows are recovering together.

Market Sentiment Edges Higher

The mood in the market looks slightly better too. The Crypto Fear & Greed Index climbed to 51 from 48 the day before, which keeps it in “Neutral” territory. But this move should not necesarrily be read into it too much. A week ago the index was at 63, which falls in the “Greed” zone. So while sentiment is improving, investors should be rather cautious than euphoric.

Ether ETFs Tell a Different Story

There is also a high contrast with Ethereum. US spot Ether ETFs continued to bleed, with roughly $149 million in net outflows recorded across Monday and Tuesday. That follows four straight weeks of net withdrawals. October outflows for these products have now reached $1.32 billion through Tuesday. This puts the month on track for the largest net withdrawals since November 2025, and it shows how differently institutional investors are treating the two largest assets right now.
