Key Takeaways:

  • Beezie and The Luxury Closet will bring authenticated luxury goods onchain through Solana.
  • The launch will feature items such as Hermès Birkin, Rolex, Chanel, Dior and Van Cleef & Arpels pieces.
  • Owners will be able to trade, vault, redeem or swap tokenized items for up to 92% of fair market value.

Solana is getting a new real-world asset category: authenticated luxury goods. Beezie is collaborating with The Luxury Closet to bring physical handbags, watches, jewelry and accessories to the blockchain with a highly coveted Hermès Birkin 40.

The collaboration will go live at the end of 2026, introducing a way to trade physical luxury collectibles as digital assets that are recorded on the blockchain without requiring them to be moved.

Luxury Goods Move Onchain

The Luxury Closet in-house team will source and authenticate each physical item, and then issue it a tokenized digital twin in Solana.

The physical asset is kept in secure vault storage until it is redeemed or sent from the owner. Token holders can also keep the item vaulted or swap it back through Beezie’s marketplace.

Beezie says eligible items can be swapped for up to 92% of their fair market value, giving collectors a defined exit route within the platform instead of relying solely on an external resale market.

The initial lineup will include an Hermès Birkin 40, a classic black Chanel handbag, Dior and Louis Vuitton duffels, a Rolex GMT-Master II “Batman” and an 18k yellow gold Van Cleef & Arpels Alhambra necklace.

Solana Gets a New RWA Use Case

From Trading Cards to Birkin Bags

Beezie is taking what she has learnt and applying it to a range of luxury items.

Its platform features gamified shopping (like blind shopping bags, which pay out the physical collectible after the order is completed). The new luxury activation is the same idea, with one activated luxury item in each bag, and odds published based on current inventory.

Once the bag is open, the collector is able to decide what they want to do next; either vault the bag or go back and interchange it with another collector.

The company states having already racked up over 1 million pulls in its main Claw machines. The luxury launch is designed to expand that collecting model into higher-value physical assets.

Authentication Meets Blockchain Ownership

The Luxury Closet is responsible for sourcing and authentication, as well as the physical side of the process. Its team will check all handbags, watches, jewelry and accessories before they arrive at Beezie marketplace.

The item will be securely stored once authorized and tokenized. This is a connection that the on-chain token and the actual collectible can hold, and transactions can be mobile.

The businesses will be expanding the first-time launch. In the future, Beezie plans to launch a continual luxury experience featuring thousands of verified products across multiple price points in 2026.

The agreement brings another consumer-side use case to Solana for real-world assets in the form of tokens.
