Hello sorry in advance if this is a dumb question

I’d like to start buying bitcoin, obviously when it was 60k it would’ve been even better. It seems some people say it will drop one more time? I don’t have a ton of money to keep putting into it so I’d like to pick an optimal time, is the general consensus that it’ll drop one more time before going up? Also I don’t really know how fast it drops/rises. Thanks in advance
